Ahhhhh! I am home!

Well, I can officially say I am a Bandster!  Everything went very well and Dr. Friedman said a had a nice little liver.  I have an AP Lap Band 11cc's.  I am doing well, but I feel pregnant with all the gas in my belly.  My hands are swollen from all of the liquids they pumped into me and I am a bit shakey.

My wonderful DH brought me some beautiful red roses today.  He is so sweet and extremely supportive.  I am so lucky to have him.

I hope Janice did well today and I know there was another new blogger who had her band yesterday.  I am kind of in a fog and I can't remember her name, sorry!

I had a most special visitor last night.  The one and only Amy W. came to see me!  She looked so skinny and cute!  She made me feel so good, thanks Amy.

I will catch up all of your blogs when I can sit more comfortably!  Thanks for all the well wishes...you're the best   :)

Miss Vickie

  1. So happy all went well. Drink lots and get up and walk around to get rid of some of the gas. And take the pain meds. They are good.

  3. Glad everything went well. I, too, have the AP 11 cc band and when it got to 5 ccs I was losing at a steady clip - it took a while to get there. Because of various health issue all but 1.5-1.75 ccs has been removed from my band (I'm at my goal weight) and I still have excellent restriction. Good luck to you!

  22. Welcome to Band Camp! I am so happy for you. The gas is the worse part. The chewable gas-x pills worked well for me. The walking helps alot too. Have a speedy recovery and be glad that you are through the surgery and on to smaller and better things. Good Luck! *Maria*

  28. Welcome to the bandster community! I know its kinda late but I'm glad all went well. I just want to remind you that having a gastric lap band should be taken seriously. Remember that you have a slower digestion pattern now, so better to look out for the foods you intake.
