Ahhhh, Sweet Relief! And NSV's!

Thank you all for the support!  You guys are the best!  I guess the nurse forgot to ask me to take a drink yesterday before I left.  Anyway,  I am just fine now.  He took 1cc out and I sat and drank a whole cup of water.  I have no idea how much is actually in my band.  He does not like to discuss numbers.  He says to concentrate on the band and not the numbers.  I just asked him to take it slow on the fills.

I also had a few NSV's while I was in AZ.  I actually had about 8 inches left of my seat belt on the plane, and I was able to cross my legs!  My daughter was so excited to see me.  I have not seen her in 6 months.  She said I felt smaller when she hugged me.  She also said my hands felt smaller and my feet looked smaller too!  It was interesting though how my sister in law, who knew I had surgery, never asked or made a comment about my weight loss or the surgery.  People are very interesting.

Here is a picture of my beautiful daughter, Crystal and my grand daughter, Liviana.

  2. I can just feel the AZ heat radiating through the picture. :) (I lived in AZ for 20 yrs). Beautiful family picture! Your daughter and grandbaby are lovely!

Glad the unfill worked out. No fun!

Too funny about the comments/or lack of comments is right. Some people just may not have any idea what to say, so they say nothing.

    You look great!

  5. I'm so glad you are feeling better today... That photo is beautiful of you, Crystal and Liviana. I have also noticed both people who seems to be forcing themselves to say something or they neglect to say anything at all about my weight loss. I wish my husband noticed more, but I was happy for years that he didn't notice how much weight I was gaining... so I guess I can live with him not saying or noticing enough that I am losing. He loves me for me... with our without my layers. I don't want people to say anything if they don't notice my weight loss but I get upset when they don't... weird, double standards. huh? Your sister-in-law may just be jealous, we all have a teenaged cheerleader inside us waiting to be bitchy and shallow, whenever threatened. You look great and she knows it. i'm sorry she didn't feel confident enough to say it. *Maria*-blogger from "This one time at Band Camp..." mybigfatbandgeeklife.blogspot.com

  6. glad you got that unfill - sounded miserable beforehand! It is odd how some people don't/won't comment on weight loss. but then, they don't usually blurt out that you're packing them on when you're gaining. i think for so many people it's just taboo to discuss someone's weight, whichever way it goes.... others have hidden jealousies. weird. you just enjoy it and revel in all the lovely comments that DO come your way!

  12. No what you mean about no comments on your weight loss. I have friends that know I've had it done and never say anything. Others are very supportive and complimentary.

Glad you had a little taken out. Too tight is no fun. Great picture!

  16. Great NSVs! Congrats! It looks as though you had a wonderful time in AZ. You do have a beautiful daughter and granddaughter!

I had a cousin who lived in Tehachipi for years. I always wanted to visit, but I didn't make it before he died.

As to your SIL not saying anything -- maybe she just didn't know what to say or how to say it? Trying to think positive here ... In teh past, I've had mixed feelings about people commenting when I've lost weight. The attention is very difficult for me to deal with. Guess I need to get over that, huh? LOL!
