Spinning...Tonsils and Vajayjay's

So, this morning I decided to fore go water aerobics and try spinning.  I know I would not be able to get up off the seat and ride, so I decided to just keep pedaling.  The room was dark and the music was loud.  I lasted about 30 minutes.  All I could think about was Stephanie describing her experience with Zumba.  She said she would rather pull her tonsils through her vagina than do Zumba.  Well Steph, I will say the same about spinning!  I will stick with water aerobics, swimming and Zumba for now.  I am meeting with a personal trainer tomorrow so she can show me how to use the weight machines.  I do need the weight training.

Oye.....my fanny hurts!

  4. Spinning? Hmmm ... never heard of it. I must be missing something. I get motion sickness easily, though, so anything with the word "spinning" in it is usually off my "to do" list. hahaha

  5. They need bigger seats on bikes...I mean really! I have not tried spinning, but was hopeful. I have a bum knee, so I thought biking might not be too bad. Hmmm...didn't think of other parts of my anatomy. Thanks for the "heads up." :) You are doing great!!!

You will love the weights! That is fun and doable!

  7. Oh no! I love spinning, but at least you tried it! In order to be successful in this we have to find something that doesn't make us prefer to ripe our tonsils out of our vajayjay's! Stick to what you like! <3

  8. the whole sitting on that little hard seat doesn't do it for me either! good for sticking it out for 30 minutes though. as you get smaller and stronger you'll be sure to find it easier to master these weird and wonderful exercise programmes!

  9. I haven't ridden a bike in years, but do remember having a sore butt quite a few times. I also don't understand why the seats can't be more cushioned.

  12. Oh I remember people saying something about getting gel seats if you're going to spin or your whootenanny or twig and berries will hurt for days! LOL

  13. Great that you tried something new, even if you aren't going to incorporate it into your fitness routine! Hope you get to feeling back to normal soon! Hope you enjoy weight training. When I can do that (just seven days post op), I need to call a trainer, too, so that I'm doing it right!
