A couple of new lows!

I had to go to my primary care doctor yesterday.  I have been experiencing some dizziness lately...all is fine.  I have a touch of biggie.  Anyway,  my blood pressure was 106/68!  That is the lowest it has been in over a year!  Of course, the doctor was very happy with my weight loss thus far.

This morning I got on the scale and it showed 189lbs!!!  This was a goal of mine to reach before I go to Phoenix next week.  It has taken me 2 weeks to lose this pound.  I have been exercising 5-6 days a week and I increased my protein everyday.  I noticed that if I don't drink all of my water, I do not lose. 

I am off to a fashion show today!  It is being sponsored by Coldwater Creek.  I think it will be a blast!

Loneliness and Exercise

Gosh, it has been a while since I have posted.  I have been reading your blogs though.

My husband has been working in Albuquerque, NM for the last 3 weeks.  He still has another 10 days to go.  It can get very quiet and lonely around here.  Before surgery, I would be very depressed (even though I was taking an anti depressant) and I would eat anything, just for the hell of it!  I can't tell you how many loaded PB&J's I would eat.  So, naturally, I would gain weight.  I didn't even have the energy to go for a walk.

This time however, I have been an exercising crazy woman!  I just got back from a Zumba and Yoga class.  It was awesome!  I just feel so much better.  I have also stopped taking the anti depression meds.  I finally feel like I am in control of myself.

The wedding for my daughter is not to be.  Actually, it is for the best.  Back in the day, I would have eaten my sadness and anger.  Not this time.  I know the exercising is helping with my stress level.  I will be going to Phoenix soon, even though the wedding is called off.  My daughter is graduating from The University of Phoenix with her Bachelor's degree in Communications and I will be at the graduation ceremony.  I am so proud of her.  She works full time, teaches Zumba 2x a week and has a 16month old daughter.  She has kicked ass!

So, if anyone needs a nudge to get moving, consider this your nudge!  Exercise has really helped me overcome a lot.  It has become a bit addicting.  Most of the time I will exercise 2x a day!  I think to my self....who the hell are you?  Where is the old, lazy, fat Queen Bee?

Goal Pants

Hi Everyone! 

I found these Dana Buchman Capri's at Kohls on clearance the other day.  They are a size 10 and I have decided they are to be my goal pants.  I hope to reach between 145-150lbs by next May.  I have lost 54 lbs so far so I have 46 to go.

Things on the band front are going very well.  I lose between 1-2 lbs a week.  It may seem slow, but it is very steady and I am happy with it.  I will have my 3rd fill on the 14th of this month.

I am trying to keep myself busy, as my husband is working out of town for the next month.  It sucks, but that is his job.  I have been busy exercising and studying for my Real Estate exam....ugh.

I had a great time in Chicago and it was wonderful meeting everyone.  Thanks for a very memorable time!
