The Camping Trip

Our trailer
Daytona Beach
Christmas day was warm and wonderful.  We walked 2 miles on the beach, rode our bikes and just relaxed.  Over the next 2 days.......we froze our butts off!  It was 40 during the day and in the the 20's at night.  The last night we were there, we ran out of propane in the middle of the night.  That provides our heat and we nearly froze to death!  That was at 3am.  We had to wait until 7am to pack up and leave because that is when quiet time is over at the RV park.  OMG, my toes were numb!  We drove to McDonald's to get coffee and breakfast just to stay warm for an hour or so.  It was nice to spend some time with John.  We always have some sort of adventure when we camp, and this time was no different.  Good times!

  5. Glad you had so much fun, and that you didn't run out of propane until the last night! :) Sorry you were cold, but you probably got some snuggle time out of it, yes? :D

  9. Sounds like fun! I have a similar story (sub trailer for tent, though) and I still laugh about it now, 8 years later...

  10. Wish we had the warmth of the sun up here. Although it is supposed to get up to 40F tomorrow and Saturday. But it still isn't short sleeve weather. You will need to snuggle closer at night to your man to keep warm :-)
