FYI......Rinse Out Your Mouth

I was talking to my son, Marcus, who is an Endodontist ( root canal doctor ), and mentioned my issue with cavities.  One thing he said to me hit me like a brick.  He said to make sure I rinse out my mouth after I eat. He knows I can't drink anything for an hour after I eat, but he said I need to get any food particles rinsed out asap.  Hmm, it does make sense.   So, I wanted to be sure I pass that along.  He also said to use ACT mouth rinse after I brush 2X a day.  It helps to prevent cavities too.

Tootles!

  2. Heather had wondered if it was all the PBing I was doing. Sort of along the lines when bulemics throw up and ruin their teeth...but pbing isnt really stomach acid and I certainly do not do it as much as a bulemic...

    who knows

  7. Good info. I wonder what ACT is equivilent to in Aus? Or it could be here I haven't seen it. I rinse my mouth/brush my teeth after every PB.

  8. Hey there Queen Bee!! I just wanted to say thank you for stopping by and saying hello. I really appreciate you taking the time out to do that for me. I really wasn't sure if anyone would take the time to leave me a comment considering I'd been MIA. Its kind of pretentious to think that you can just drop out and then expect everyone is going to remember or invite you back into the fold of support and sharing. I have to say I was shocked to see comments this morning and it made me feel, well, pretty GREAT. Thanks for that. That in itself is motivating.
I'm going to spend some time catching up on your blog - I really look forward to reading it. Again, thank you so very much for stopping by. You'll never know how much that meant to me or how much it has suddenly INSPIRED me. Thank you!
