Prayers for Daddy

My dad was involved in a very serious motorcycle accident a week ago.  He has been an avid and skilled rider for over 50 years.  He was on a ride with a friend of his up in Idaho.  He hit some gravel and rolled his bike twice.  He has 5 broken ribs, a shattered ankle, multiple contusions and bruises.  He is currently in ICU on a ventilator.  Unfortunately, he has developed double pneumonia.  There has been some minor progress, and I mean very minor.

I am in Couer d'Alene, Idaho.  I will go home on Monday, Sept. 5th.  If he can get off the ventilator before I leave, I will be much happier.

I lost my mother 9 years ago and I am really not ready to lose my dad.  Those of you who have lost a parent or parents,
 know what I mean.

I would appreciate any prayers and good thoughts.  I know I can count on my blogging buddies to help a girl out!

I will keep you posted on his progress.

Thank you so much,
